Abby is our wedding coordinator in Detroit, Michigan. However, just like all of our team, she travels all over the state as needed.
Since a young girl, Abby has always had a passion to bring people together. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. After dipping her toes in the worlds of corporate, non-profit and live music, she found her passion of wedding management after planning her own wedding in 2021. Abby is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for her clients and bringing joy to every event. She thrives under pressure and is keenly aware of needs before they arise. Her favorite part about the wedding day is watching the bride and groom share their first dance as husband and wife. When not executing a wedding timeline, she spends time on walks with her husband and three kiddos, eating copious amounts of ice cream, and dominating family game nights.

We had Abby Mahaffy as our coordinator. The job she did breaks the rating scale. Abby made our day so amazing, seamless and enjoyable for my husband, family, and I. We were able to trust her 100% so we all could relax and enjoy every second of the day. Abby is professional, organized, passionate and enthusiastic. She made us feel so special and important in every meeting! She was so kind and supportive above everything else as well. You could tell she really cared that our day go as smoothly as possible. Abby also went above and beyond grabbing my bridal party and I coffee the morning of; as well as capturing pictures and videos on her phone to send to me, so I could have some content from the day before the official photos and videos were ready! I can say without doubt, our wedding would not have been possible without her. I could not recommend Best Day Details or Abby more!!
